SAT vs. ACT
One of the biggest questions that students are parents face is which test to take? Matthew will guide you through all the key differences between the SAT and ACT and share the best way to determine which test is the best fit for you. Additionally, he will answer the following questions:
Are the SAT and ACT still required for college applications?
What does test optional mean for my student?
What is the difference between the SAT and ACT?
What is the best way to prepare for the SAT and ACT?
When should students start to prepare for the SAT and ACT? And when should they take the tests?
Any questions you have!
The Digital SAT is Coming in March 2024!
In case you have not heard the news yet, the SAT is changing from a paper test to a digital test in March 2024. The final opportunity to take the paper SAT is December 2023. So, rising juniors taking the SAT will have the opportunity to take both versions of the SAT. This creates a headache for students and parents alike around SAT Prep and brings up many questions:
What is changing about the SAT?
Should my student take the Paper SAT or the Digital SAT?
When Should We Start Preparing for the SAT?
Do colleges accept both the Paper SAT and Digital SAT scores?
The presentation will take around 45 minutes, and any attendees will be welcome to ask questions at the conclusion. The presentation will also be recorded in case you cannot attend live.
This information session is best for families of students who are rising juniors and sophomores who have not started SAT/ACT Prep. It will also be helpful for any rising seniors who still plan to take the SAT/ACT. The session will be informative for both parents and students, and both are welcome to attend.
